Two New Jersey men hopped into a police van to stage photos of themselves getting arrested as a gag, but things turned sour when they realized they were locked in the van.
21-year-old Ryan Letchford and 22-year-old Jeffrey Olson were arrested early Saturday when another person called 911 to report the men were trapped in a Philadelphia Police Constable’s car.
The men had left a party and thought it would be funny to take photos of themselves in the van, but when officers arrived, they claimed to have no idea how they got in the van. They were arrested on charges of theft, public drunkenness and criminal mischief and posted bail.
