The Honorable Bernard Martinez Valerio, Honduran Secretary of State for
Department of Culture, Arts, and Sports recently visited New York City . In his
political career, spanning over 28 years, His Excellency has broken racial lines
and set national records.

Among his many invitations, was the screening to independent film projects, Off
Hour and Salud, presented by Bronx World Film Cycle, hosted by Walter Krochmal.
The vision of Bronx World Film Cycle is to bring independent cinema and its
production to Central and Latin America .

By heightening the awareness of Central American talent and the untold stories
of our contemporary era through our own voice, the production of film in Latin
America can stimulate an economy and give rise to a movement.
