Time Warner Cable customers can now call family and friends in the Dominican Republic for as low as a penny per minute. As part of Time Warner Cable’s Global Penny Phone Plan, Home Phone customers have access to penny-per-minute rates for more than 40 countries and competitive international rates for more than 200 countries.
“Time Warner Cable’s Global Penny Phone Plan appeals to customers who want to keep in touch with loved ones overseas at an extremely affordable price,” said Jeff Lindsay, Time Warner Cable’s Group Vice President and General Manager for Phone. “We’re happy to add the Dominican Republic to the plan, providing flexibility and low rates for customers who want to pay as they go.”
The Global Penny Phone Plan pricing is based on the minutes used each month. Time Warner Cable offers an additional international calling plan, International OnePrice, where customers get 1,000 minutes each month to make calls to 100 international destinations.
The Global Penny Phone Plan is available to Home Phone customers for $2.95 per month and covers calls to overseas landline phones and in some nations, to mobile phones as well.
