Pitbull Visits Kodiak, Alaska

Pitbull also known as Mr. Worldwide visited Kodiak, Alaska, to visit the small island’s Walmart store as part of a competition sponsored by the chain and Listerine. Pitbull agreed to visit the big-box store that got the most ‘likes’ on its Facebook page, which ended up getting hacked by David Thorpe and Jon Hendren of the website Something Awful. They thought it would be funny to send Pitbull into exile by sending him to the most remote Walmart possible. Pitbull was exited nonetheless and stated “”I heard that Kodiak, Alaska, has the most likes due to someone who thinks he was playing a prank, but you gotta understand, I’ll go anywhere in the world for my fans.” He even took the opportunity to extend an invitation to the pranksters. While in Alaska, the singer spent the day hanging with some of the local residents of the island with a population just north of 6,100 and snapping pics in their Walmart. He was also able to perform for the local Coast Guard base. Great job Pitbull!
