The Bronx-born diva again defies Father Time because her mother’s strong youthful genes continue to bless J.Lo as she celebrates her born day. No seriously, have you seen her mother that really looks like her sister???
It is amazing how Jenny From The Block looks better than most 20-year old pop female artists out now. One would think Lopez’s hard work ethics; entrepreneurship, performance tours, marriages, fiancés, children, boyfriends and album releases would have weighed down this pop icon. But no, she must be the Puerto Rican Benjamin Button, where it seems that she’s aging in reverse.
It’s hard for most female singers and actresses to stay in the mainstream, as they get older. But J.Lo keeps herself relevant in this fast moving pop culture that is like a child with Attention Deficit Disorder while drinking a gallon of Kool-Aid and eating a box of sugar… organic probably.
But really, congrats to J.Lo for doing it all at the youthful age of 46. Lopez has accomplished many things including being a multiplatinum chart-topping singer for more than a decade (On The 6 was debut in 1999 and she has released 7 more albums), an accomplished actress (kudos for not playing a crack head or a maid in films), movie producer, dancer, philanthropist, fashion designer, perfume smeller (If you know the process of designing perfumes this sounds appropriate), original big booty icon and a judge on American Idol. This Latina proves that Hispanics can do everything.
