The multifaceted actor and comedian John Leguizamo, is back on Broadway with
his new one man show “Ghetto Klown.” Directed by Fisher Stevens, the play is
the next installment to John’s life and already popular shows “Mambo
Mouth”, “Spic-O-Rama”, “Freak”, and “Sexaholic…A Love Story.”
“Ghetto Klown is all the things I say to my therapist and my manager, but
would NEVER want the general public to know. It’s cheaper than a lawsuit and
I get to take a bow at the end. It’s like Wikileaks buto with no
international manhunt. Yet.” says Leguizamo about the show.
In true John Leguizamo style, the show depicts the ups and downs of John’s
career from his start in avant-garde theater to starring along Hollywood
heavyweights in major motion films. John performs over 30 different
impersonations in the show to represent the personalities he has worked with
over the years including Robert DeNiro, Anthony Hopkins and Al Pacino.
“Ghetto Klown” opens February 21 for 12 weeks at the Lyceum Theatre[image:
