The 2015 New York International Auto Show is coming to an end really soon. Actually, April 12 will be the last showing of the best automobiles of the past, present and future at the Jacob Javits Center.
As an enthusiast, I was already excited to see most cars. And before this event of man-made eye candies concludes, I had to check out some of my favorite brands. Nissan, General Motors and Mazda got my engine running when they rolled out their new toys. Needless to say, I was not disappointed.
Nissan:
One of the top selling vehicles amidst Latino consumers in the U.S. showcased their newly renovated Nissan Maxima. The last time this powerful full-size sedan was revamped was back in 2008. Now the Maxima is being introduced as a 4-door sports car with a brand new exterior, redesigned interior and new playthings that are exciting many drivers. The Maxima’s 300 horsepower, luxurious cockpit with the center console angled 7 degrees towards the driver, like a spaceship (yes, I said spaceship), and a “Sport Mode setting that’ll get your heart racing” will soon make this car a road favorite.

General Motors:
Every year you can expect that GM will continue to showcase new and innovative automobiles at the auto show. This year they presented a few vehicles that will lead the automobile industry into the future.
Chevrolet’s Volt has pushed other automakers to take hybrids seriously. Now with its 2016 model, which will go on sale this fall, will show off its new longer and sexier body that looks more like a current sedan rather than a futuristic golf cart.
The Cadillac brought things back to the back seat with their brand new CT6. The German’s luxury vehicles (BMW, Mercedes and Audi) have been dominating the rear-wheel drive sedans, until now. The CT6 is expected to hit the market in 2016 to accommodate high-class passengers who demand comfy rides.
Mazda:
This new ride by Mazda is not a full-size sports utility vehicle (SUV) like the CX-9 or a compact utility vehicle like the CX-5. Instead, it is their little brother – a sub-compact utility vehicle, the CX-3. Mazda’s new CX-3 is convenient to drive around the city, fun to zoom anywhere and still chic enough to define you as the cool kid on the block.
Here are just a few vehicles at this year’s New York International Auto Show.
