Romeo Santos Releasing Live Concert CD+DVD
Bachata sensation Romeo Santos will take fans back to the sold-out Madison Square Garden concerts back in February. The release of “The King Stays King: Sold Out at the Madison Square Garden” is a CD+DVD 18-song live concert release featuring the songs from Formula Vol. 1, the best-selling Latin music album of 2012. The DVD will also feature all of Romeo’s collaborations at MSG with guest artists Usher, P. Diddy, and Wisin y Yandel.
The Latinas on Forbes list of the 100 Most Powerful Women
Forbes has released their power rankings of the most influential women in the world for its ninth consecutive year. Some of the Latinas that made the prestigious list are Dilma Rousseff, the first female President of Brazil, Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner (16), Argentina’s president, and Maria das Gracas Silva Foster, the first female oil tycoon (CEO of Petrobras) and hails from Brazil. Jennifer Lopez is 38th on the list, known as a Latina powerhouse.
Sofia Vergara Debuts Makeover As Lucille Ball
Funny woman and “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara recently posted a photo of herself on channeling comedic icon Lucille Ball. The picture was posted on Sofia’s WhoSay pagefeatures her in a red wig with tight curls, Lucy’s signature red lips and arched eyebrows, and a suitably wacky expression. Vergara tweeted Sunday “Lucyyyyy I’m hooome,” echoing the words Cuban actor Desi Arnaz made famous on the comedy. No word as to whether why Vergara donned the elaborate costume but we can guess it has something to do with Modern Family.
