Sofia Vergara recently filmed an eight-episode “mini telenovela” that will be broadcast in every single Latin American country except Brazil. The 40-year-old voluptuous actress was famous for novelas in her native Colombia such as “Amas de Casa Desesperadas” and “Cuerpo y Alma.” Her character in the new novela remains a secret but we do know they filmed in Long Island, New York and we are sure it will be a hit!
“I had so much fun creating this project and I hope people throughout Latin America enjoy it,” said Vergara in a press release. “For now I’m not able to offer more details about it – it’s going to be a surprise.”
This will mark Vergara’s return to Spanish-language television since joined the highly successful ABC sitcom “Modern Family” back in 2009.
