Things come full circle when you play the game the way Griselda Blanco did with ruthless precision and no mercy. The endless bloodshed and the lives destroyed led to her being killed at the age of 69 which I believe to be a miracle in itself, the life she lived and the things she had done should have caught up with her a long time ago. Killed in a manner in which she was known for creating outside of a butcher shop in Medellin Colombia Griselda Blanco was shot twice in the head execution style by an unknown hit man. Was it a drug hit?… sources say she had a quiet life since she been deported or was it revenge for the 40 plus murders she had been reported to have committed.
You have to look at the whole story to completely grasp what this woman was about and where she came from, to relate with or completely disagree with. Growing up in a broken home in the slums of Medellin Colombia Griselda Blanco started out at a very young age. In the beginning her mother would make a young Griselda turn in tricks for cash while also being physically and mentally abused. At the young age of 20 she met her first husband and the legend began, he introduced her to the drug game and he got her out of the petty pickpocket scheme and prostitution and they moved to New York City.
Through her first husband Carlos Trujillo she became one the top cocaine suppliers in the United States, estimated in more than 240 killings, and over 8 million in drug trafficking. Her alias was the black widow for a good reason; all of her husband’s have died in a brutal manner. They were men that stood in her way to power so she simply got rid of them.
