New York native Daniella Alonso is recently wrapped shooting roles on Rizzoli and Isles and Covert Affairs. She is most recently known for starring as Brenda Serrano in the short-lived fall 2010 ABC drama series MY GENERATION. An American actress of Puerto Rican and Peruvian origins, Daniella was also seen as Carlotta on NBC’s critically-acclaimed television series “Friday Night Lights,” but is best known for her role as Anna Taggaro on the popular The CW series “One Tree Hill.” Before that, she portrayed Pilar Domingo in the daytime drama “As the World Turns” and on the silver screen, Daniella, who made her debut in 1997’s “Academy Boyz,” has dotted her resume with roles in Martin Lawrence’s “Black Knight,” the 2003 Official Sundance Dramatic Selection “Rhythm of the Saints,” “The Last Romantic,” “All You’ve Got,” Snoop Dogg’s “Hood of Horror,” and “The Hills Have EyesII,” written by Wes Craven. Her last film was “The Collector.” Discovered by the FORD Modeling Agency, she began booking jobs for teen magazines like Seventeen, YM, Teen which led to her booking commercials and has done over 30 national commercials and approximately 20+ Spanish market advertisements as well. An avid animal lover, who supports PETA, Daniella also practices karate, from which she has a 4th level green belt. She was named one of “Maxim’s Hot 100” in 2006.
Daniella is now starring in the highly anticipated J.J. Abrams’ NBC show REVOLUTION as “Nora”. She was a late addition to the series regular cast this summer, but her addition caused quite the buzz!
In addition to her role on “Revolution,” Daniella has appeared as a guest star in TNT’s popular drama “Rizzoli & Isles,” as Riley Cooper and proves to be essential the upcoming season finale! Last but not least, Daniella is also in a few episodes of “Covert Affairs” as Auggie Anderson’s CIA therapist this season.
