Eva Mendes, 40, and longtime boyfriend, Ryan Gosling, 33 are proud parents of a baby girl, born on September 12th.
People Magazine reports that a close friend of the couple tells them, “Ryan is madly in love with the baby,” adding that Mendes, 40, “is loving her new title of “mom.”
Mendes is “absolutely in heaven being a mom. She’s never been happier,” reports People. “She and Ryan are just in awe of this beautiful person they created. It’s a really special time for them.”
Although rumors about Eva’s pregnancy had been circulating throughout the summer, the couple where tight-lipped about it.
Rumors started when Mendes decided to opt out of scanners and X-Ray machines at Airports when she travels. Mendes addressed the pregnancy rumors on ’The Ellen Show’ telling Ellen DeGeneres, “It’s so ridiculous. It all started because I didn’t want to go through the scanners at the airport, you know, those X-ray scanners, which are really creepy — they basically see you naked, right? And there’s a radiation aspect to it, so I always opt out.”
“That was good enough reason to say, ‘Hey [you’re pregnant],’” she added.
The couple met on the set of their movie Place Beyond the Pines back in 2011 and finally announced their pregnancy in July when they surprised fans around the world by revealing that Eva was indeed seven months pregnant.
