Jessica Alba cleared the air on how she quickly lost the baby weight after the birth of her second daughter, Haven Garner. Despite speculations, she claims she did it in a healthy manner and did not become “a slave to the gym”.
In a recent interview, the actress stated, “I didn’t gain as much weight with my second pregnancy, so I think that really made a difference.” According to Alba, a constant routine of prenatal yoga and healthy food choices kept her weight from creeping up during the pregnancy. After the birth, it was 40 minutes of cardio on an elliptical that helped her shed the extra weight right off. She stated, “I started working out and not going too crazy, but I did what was safe and what the doctor approved.”
The star doesn’t hold back from eating what she wants either. Over Thanksgiving weekend, Alba posted a picture of her holiday meal on twitter and described it as “gluttony at its finest”. Guess she burned off those calories with the 90 minute sessions she squeezes in four days a week at L.A.’s Fitness Factory.
In regards to motherhood, the actress seems to be doing well and enjoying every minute with her children. The star recently took a trip to Disneyland with daughters Honor and Haven and husband, Cash Warren. Unfortunately, Disneyland may not have had the organic products that help her maintain her famous body.
