An Oregon DMV worker was placed on leave after suggesting that migrants arriving at the U.S. border should be shot.
Lori McAllen shared her feelings on Facebook about the Trump administration’s “zero tolerance” immigration policy, which has ripped thousands of children from their parents at the U.S. border, causing hundreds of people to call on the agency to fire her.
“I personally think they should shoot them all at the border and call it good,” McAllen allegedly wrote on Facebook, The Oregonian reported.

“It’ll save us hard working AMERICAN’S billions of dollars on our taxes!! ;)” she said.
McAllen’s offensive remarks quickly circulated on social media, prompting the state Department of Transportation to investigate her hateful and unrealistic commentary.
“An employee linked to an offensive Facebook post is on leave while we investigate,” the agency said.
“The comment doesn’t reflect our agency values and is disturbing and hurtful. Thank you for your patience as we complete the investigation,” it said.
Her Facebook profile has been taken down.
