The Dominican Day Parade 2023 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, Aug. 13, along Sixth Avenue from 37th to 52nd Street, commencing at noon. This prominent stretch of Manhattan will be filled with the vibrant colors, lively music, and enthusiastic spirit of the Dominican community.
The President’s Presence:
This year’s parade is making history, as it will be graced by the presence of the Dominican Republic President, Luis Abinader. President Abinader will be recognized as the Grand Marshal, making it the first time in the parade’s history that the country’s president has participated in the event. His attendance signifies the significance of the Dominican Day Parade on an international scale.
