The UFC announced the format and teams for its second edition titled The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 2. It will premiere on August 26th on UFCFIGHTPASS.com as well as Televisa PM Channel 5 in Mexico, UFC Network, and other Free-to-Air Networks in Latin America.
The teams will be organized into Team Gastelum and Team Escudero. Each unit will have eight Latin American fighters from the Lightweight and Welterweight divisions. Escudero and Gastelum will serve as team coaches.
Kelvin Gastelum was the winner of season seventeen of The Ultimate Fighter while Efrain Escudero credentials include the winning in season eight of this reality series as well as holding the honor of being the first Mexican to win a UFC Contract.
The list of the participating fighters are here below. Nine countries will be represented with the prize a contract with UFC for the winners.
